Rail-Water Intermodal “Yangtze River Express” Freight Train Departs from Chengxiang Railway Station, Chengdu

On December 10 at 10 a.m., the inaugural rail-water intermodal “Yangtze River Express” freight train loaded with goods embarked on its journey from the Chengxiang Railway Station in Chengdu. This express will reach Jingzhou, Hubei by railway and further distribute goods to destinations in Jiangsu, Shanghai, and beyond via the Yangtze River. The implementation of this service is expected to reduce transportation time from the previous 15-20 days to approximately 10 days, resulting in a substantial enhancement of cargo transport efficiency.
