Rapid Development of China’s Railway Construction

As a crucial component of the corridor connecting Beijing to Kunming of the national “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high speed rail network, the Chongqing-Kunming High Speed Railway spans a total length of 699 kilometers with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Currently, all beam structures in the Sichuan-Chongqing section of the Chongqing-Kunming High Speed Railway have been erected. The photo shows the beam structure being assembled by the construction team from China Railway 12th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. at the Chongqing-Kunming High Speed Railway’s Sichuan-Chongqing section.
