Since its resumption of operations, the number of train services on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High Speed Railway has been increased several times. It has grown from 38.5 pairs in the early stages of resumption to 94 pairs in the fourth quarter’s train operation schedule. This increase has driven rapid growth in passenger flow. During this year’s May Day holiday, 532,000 passengers were transported, and during the summer peak travel period, 3.525 million passengers were served. Additionally, during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, 815,000 passengers were transported.
To enhance the quality of cross-boundary passenger transport and provide a better travel experience for passengers, CR-Guangzhou has solidly carried out passenger service improvements. They have established the “CR-Guangzhou U-color” service brand, developed service etiquette standards, and conducted training for relevant crew teams. They have also conducted special cleaning campaigns, strictly implemented standards, and strengthened the sanitation of the train. Furthermore, in-depth market research has been conducted to continually enrich the variety of train catering and dynamically replenish meals based on sales inventory to meet the dining needs of passengers.
