Recently, the No.49162 train, composed of 58 cars with a payload of 3,655 tons, slowly departed from Port of Zhuengadabuqi, heading straight for Mujiadian Railway Station. This marks the first Mongolian imported coal train from the port dispatched by CR-Shenyang this year. The operation of this train has actively contributed to ensuring energy supply and establishing an efficient railway transportation channel for imported coal.

The Port of Zhuengadabuqi is a crucial node on the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor and an essential port for northern openness. To enhance the port’s capacity for importing and exporting goods, CR-Shenyang has focused on the Mongolian coal transport market this year. They actively visited coal enterprises upstream and downstream, understood the transportation needs of enterprises, and assessed the transportation capacity of the Port of Zhuengadabuqi. Furthermore, due to the tight winter coal transport, they organized relevant units to formulate transportation support plans and improve the winter thermal coal transport guarantee capacity. Through visits and negotiations, several companies have expressed interest in shipping coal through the Port of Zhuengadabuqi.

DONG WU ZHU MU Qin QI GUANG NENG Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in import and export trade, warehousing, and logistics services. Relying on the Port of Zhuengadabuqi, the company has invested in building a supervision warehouse of more than 15,000 square meters that complies with national environmental standards and has customs regulatory functions.

This year, the company signed a strategic development cooperation agreement for port coal shipping with Jilin Power Investment Corporation Limited. Seizing this favorable opportunity, CR-Shenyang organized relevant units to intervene early, providing “one-stop” services from booking car acceptance, freight calculation, and shipping methods, to the destination station. This allowed customers to experience the sincerity of railway services and ensured transportation security for Mongolian coal through the railway.

In the harsh winter, with an outdoor temperature at the Port of Zhuengadabuqi reaching minus 20 degrees Celsius, CR-Shenyang’s professional officials supervised and guided the operation diligently. On-site workers cooperated actively, adhering to standards to ensure the safe and efficient loading of coal.

To guarantee the long-term transportation of coal from the port, they followed the “Five Priorities” principle, coordinating freight centers, operations, locomotives, and other units. They addressed existing issues related to transportation organization, operational efficiency, and locomotive utilization at the junctions to provide ample transportation capacity assurance for the continuous operation of coal trains.
